Also check blinker fluid as that may be getting low.
Muffler bearings also need checking and may need grease.

You might check pep boys i think they carry headlight fluid.
i replaced me muffler bearings with hydraulic muffler bearings last year and i can't hear them any more. they are so quite that you don't even know they exist.

The problem I have been having, is that the quality of the head light oil has gone down hill. The last can I used was made in Mexico and there seems to be a breech in quality control.  Dave

Your just lucky your working on good ole American electrics. You ought to try finding Lucas electrical system smoke... seems to seep out of my old Norton's electrical parts and then nothing works after it does. Darn hard to put it back in if you can find it.

I know diesel exhaust fluid is legitimate, but it seems like it should fit in this conversation someplace.
Muffler belts don't seem to stand up to the heat of these newer engines, either. They must run a lot hotter than the first muffler belt equipped units.
If it weren't for the last minute, I wouldn't get anything done!

Head light fluid, blinker fluid, radiator in a vw bug, muffler bearings, trim wicks on headlamps, packaged smoke, metric cresent, reefer on a flatbed, bug shield for COE, sailboat fuel, etc.   I can't keep up with all this new stuff.  Guess I better write it down in my journal so they'll know when they put a sheet over me what caused it, you know, pain in my side from laughing too hard!

Lonn only the off road headlight fluid is clear. Seems that the taxed stuff comes n different shades. Lately I've seen headlights that look blue, green and purple. Dont get caught running the clear stuff on the road. I hear the fines are huge.

If you buy the Halogen Headlight fluid it lasts longer and gives you a better glow. Also, Wally World has a special on Finigin Pins. The Stainless ones are more expensive though. As for the Muffler bearings, I would only buy the sealed roller type....

What is worse is when I was in the navy trying to find a DC Punch, left handed wrenches when everyone is right handed and then those pesky sea bats that kept having to be caught....

In the USAF, we always were looking for sky hooks.  It was really nice when the got jet engines too, then we didn't need to keep looking for prop wash!!!

After you get you lights functioning properly, you should change the air in your tires every six months. Bill

And if your changing the air in you tires remember that metric tires take metric air.  Might have to go out and buy a metric air compressor to get that job done or I suppose you could buy a converter to convert standard air to metric.
And by the way is it still ametric tire if mounted on a 15" rim?
I went to sears and told the salesman I was in the need of some metric sockets and asked if I wanted 3/8" drive or 1/2" drive. Whats up with that?

I just got my daughter's little red sports car out of the barn yesterday and three of the tires were flat. I told her last fall to make sure she had put the winter air in the tires as that summer air won't stand up to our cold winters. Obviously, she didn't listen!

Well since it's a sports car and you have to refill those tires anyway why not substitute genuine Kansas sailboat fuel instead of plain summer air.

I hear it works great, really improves your tires performance and it's even better than the stuff with the green valve caps!
