Had about as much luck with my off color self propelled antique mower conditioner. Broke the belt that drives the sickle bar and no spare. SO.... grabbed the 170, planted another round of sweet corn then hooked on to the Woods and mowed the pasture. Hated to do that but the thistle is really bad currently.

I used the model C to cultivate my first batch of sweet corn. 4 whole rows!
It was over before I got into the groove.

6060 was on boat launch duty at our river property. Dad ordered the Larson in 1972, of course it was orange and white with black stripes.

Hauled in some round bales made with 7040. I really like running this 200. Very nimble and the console controls are so easy to use. It has some blow by but runs pretty good. Dad bought this in the 80s after I'd moved out. I planted his last field of corn he'd ever see with it. My uncle bought it after Dad passed. The last time you saw it the hood was off to replace the steering hoses. It got a little wax, the cowl repainted and a new floor mat installed.

My accountant shot another angle. Not a cloud in the sky but the Canada haze made it seem cloudy

Had these three out and worked them over with the power-washer. They really needed it. I'm actually a little ahead of schedule on washing this year. Think I've washed everything that will move except the 756 and four Cub Cadets. Well, WD 'Grandpa' will move but is blocked in the shed so it will get started and run but probably just stay put again this year.

Changed wheels and tires on the front of the new to me D-15. The ones that came on it both go flat in a week or less. I like the tires but the rims not so much. Found a pair in my parts storage, 6.50X16 Firestone 4-ribs. Their the wrong color but that will get corrected in time. While changing the first one I noticed the knee was a bit loose, tightened the two nuts, good as new! Took the slop right out of the steering.

Nice D15 Mike! Powerful tractor for 46hp. Very nimble. Ours did a lot of plowing with a Oliver 3 bottom back in the 70’s, 80’s until dad bought the 6060 new.

Thanks! Hopefully I get some time to tinker with it some today. Have tires to change on one of my Red ones and a CA gas tank I'm coating with por 15. Oh, it's my birthday today so I may knock off early!

Thanks guys! Couldn't get the beads to break on my tire project so that wrapped up early. I did get the por-15 coating on the CA gas tank. Started mowing the lawn, got rained out. Got enough rain to make the bottom of the gauge wet! So, decided to work on the 15's fuel gauge. Got it removed, float was seriously fuel-logged. Tracked down a different brass flat washer and fitted the new float. Works like a new one now. I may put the tank back on that CA today, who knows?

Must have been CA day here yesterday. Reinstalled the fuel tank on No. 2, then jumped on No.1 and mowed for an hour or so.

Went to Mills Fleet Farm today, found 6 C-159 oil filters on the shelf, bought 'em all!

Local antique power show is coming up in about a month so, time to wash up some of the participants! The wide front 45 always goes as it is my preferred 'plow tractor'. Ca-2 got in the line-up, think this is the first time for it. Maybe I just hope it's the first time as filthy as it was. 856 wasn't that dirty but it's going to the show and I'm trying to shine it up some so it got another bath. Was kind of a combination day for me, worked on both Orange and Red machines. Finished changing tires on the H for the tractor pull this afternoon in Sully. I would really like to take the 5-16 Oliver plow and hook it on the 8 but need to change the tread spacing and only having about 4 acres to plow, no need to be a hog. There are other plow-days this fall.

Took the D17 "logging" today.  Wind took down a big 'ol poplar tree by the farm driveway, so we dragged it out with the D17 and then cut it up and most went to the burn pile. After the last load I tried to pull out the old stump with the loader and blew one of the two tilt cylinder hoses that I hadn't changed out.Cry  Oil all over me and the tractor.  The old Nelson muffler took a hit too and got a little smokey for a while!

Figured out the Deutz-Allis KU-250 tedder/rake will work behind the WD. Pretty crappy rake but it looks like it may ted halfway decent.
