I was looking at a WC this afternoon. I tried to see the serial # but it was getting dark. It looked like it was only 4 numbers. At what serial # did they go to styled, as this on had a styled gas tank on it. I want to build a WC puller.
35WC on steel, B with belly mower, D17 puller, D15 Series II puller, D15 Series II with loader, 608 Lawn Tractor

if only 4 numbers then it's a early unstyled WC rear end.

according to Terry Deans data book, unstyled 1933-1938, ending around ser no 74,329.
1935 started with ser no 2127, and ended with sr no 13869

Something no one mentions is that the month/year the rear end was made is cast on the front of the axle.   I realize this is not as precise as the serial number, but gives a quick general idea of the year of the model.
Thanks

A 4 digit Serial number would be a 1934 or 1935 Unstyled WC.
