I was looking at a WC this afternoon. I tried to see the serial # but it was getting dark. It looked like it was only 4 numbers. At what serial # did they go to styled, as this on had a styled gas tank on it. I want to build a WC puller. ------------- 35WC on steel, B with belly mower, D17 puller, D15 Series II puller, D15 Series II with loader, 608 Lawn Tractor |

if only 4 numbers then it's a early unstyled WC rear end. ------------- 1937 WC, 1950 CA, 1959 D14, 1967 190XT, 2006 Ram 3500 |

according to Terry Deans data book, unstyled 1933-1938, ending around ser no 74,329.

Something no one mentions is that the month/year the rear end was made is cast on the front of the axle. A 4 digit Serial number would be a 1934 or 1935 Unstyled WC.
