A couple of years ago I added a ball valve ahead of my WD rear hydraulic coupler to shut off the fluid to my front end loader. That valve is situated under the seat. It worked so well I bought one for the control arms so I can use the loader with lift arms up attached to a blade. I know others have done this. Where did you mount the valve? Did you run hydraulic hose or steel line to and from the valve?
After I sight the valve I can measure for line to put it all back together. All help is sincerely appreciated! |

Mount it up by the pump where the rear cylinders hose attaches to the pump.

I mounted a 3 way valve on top of the hydraulic pump just because it made the plumbing changes easier. I have yet to add an extension so I can work it from the seat. I can push it forward with my foot but need to stand up and bend, to reach it to pull it back. It runs the freeman loader in the forward position, the remote connection is in the middle and the lift arms is the rear position. It is really nice for snow removal to have the blade and loader on at the same time and be able to use both.

I mounted mine for my AD-45 on the right fender. Super easy to get to. Maybe takes more hose but works great for me.
