An old Indian Chief goes to the trading post to buy some toilet paper. He tells the clerk "Me needum toilet paper." The clerk says to him "it's back in that corner" and points in the right direction. The Chief goes and looks but comes back a few minutes later and says "Too many beads, cannot afford". The clerk thinks a minute and tells him "there is some generic toilet paper over there" and points to the generic section. The Chief asks "What is generic?" The clerk explains that generic products don't have the same quality, fancy packaging or a brand name and that keeps the cost lower so it's less expensive. The Chief buys some generic toilet paper and takes it home to his wigwam.
A few weeks later the Chief is back in the trading post and the clerk asks him "How did you like the generic toilet paper?" The chief shook his head and said "back at reservation we make name for generic toilet paper, We call um John Wayne". The clerk, with a puzzled look on his face asks "Why do you call it John Wayne?" The Chief says "Rough tough son of gun, take no Crap off Injun". |
