I am looking for the bushings that go in the hand clutch lever. Does anyone know part numbers, source? I think there are two.
Thanks

Jeff

The bushing are 7/8" ID and 1" OD.  I found them at our local electric repair spot. They fix and repair a lot of electric motors. Otherwise Steiner Tractors has them I think

Hey Norm.
The pin on mine is not in the greatest shape, but usable enough for now. Thought the bushings would get most of the slop out. What is the procedure for changing that pin? Are they available?

Have replaced several pins.  Remove the transmission cover and drive the old pin from the inside out.  Remove the right side frame.  Put the new pin in the freezer to shrink it down and then drive it in the same depth as the old one.  With new hand clutch bushings you are back to square one.  HTH

Jeff - I bought mine at McMaster-Carr on-line.  Part number I order was:  2868T192 for a 7/8 ID/1" OD bronze sleeve bearing 1.5 inches long.  I think my plan is to cut them in half and insert half from each end of the pivot.  They were only $2.68 each.  I have yet to put mine in.  I also ordered bushing for my foot clutch pedal as it was even worse.  It doesn't have bushings so I bought a 1 1/8 drill bit and drilled out the foot clutch and put bushings in.  Shaft was worn on it too but it was MUCH better after being bushed.  Mike

Baum Hydraulics at Omaha (www.baumhydraulics.com) is another source of bronze bushings. 7/8 x 1 x 1-1/2 is their number CB14-1612
