My WD45 has had a difficult time shifting. It can take some time to get it into the right gear. The lever pops out occasionally, but it is no problem to get it back in. I don't know if the problem is the shifter, the forks or something else. How do I diagnose this? Is there some place I can send the assembly to get it redone? Any other ideas? Thanks in advance!

Sounds like the tip end is badly worn. Can be welded up and ground down. Has been past posts with dimensions. I don't know how you find them.

Chris, Sugarmaker has a bunch of stuff on this. I did a search, click on his name then 'search member posts'. Shifter was the only word I used.
