My wife and I have been raising lady finger popcorn in our garden for several years now and this year planted 10 rows. Wonderful stuff with no hulls to get stuck in your teeth. Anyways, the bad part is that its hell to shell by hand, thumbs get sore quickly even though we wear the best gloves we can find that still have dexterity(dynema)
Does anyone know of a special sheller that will work for these tiny ears? Regular shellers are not only to large but would be rough on the seed, which if pierced won't all it to pop correctly. Thanks Edited by firebrick43 - 17 Oct 2010 at 1:09pm |
