My wife and I have been raising lady finger popcorn in our garden for several years now and this year planted 10 rows.  Wonderful stuff with no hulls to get stuck in your teeth.  Anyways, the bad part is that its hell to shell by hand, thumbs get sore quickly even though we wear the best gloves we can find that still have dexterity(dynema)

Does anyone know of a special sheller that will work for these tiny ears?  Regular shellers are not only to large but would be rough on the seed, which if pierced won't all it to pop correctly.

Thanks

Don't know what sheller would be the best, but today I seen a store selling ears of popcorn you thow the whole ear in the microwave for $3.95 each. How many ears of popcorn does it take to make a bushel??????? Looked like pretty good money to me.
