Anybody have any idea of the size bushings that are used - don't have tractor close by and would like to take them along this weekend. The clutch handle wobbles severely from side to side so I am guessing that the bushings are missing or wore out. Even if you don't know the original bushing size can any one tell me the size of the pivot shaft - that way I can buy several different sizes with the correct ID and return what doesn't work.
Thanks! |

I think some of the early ones did not use the bushing.
Some of the early 1950's didn't use them I think. AGCO can get them but they are not cheap. I think around $30.00 each. I'm not at the farm today so I can't get you the size. Sorry. |

Pin diameter is .870. Hand clutch bore is 1 inch. Bushings were used on tractors with serial no.`s 34450 and up. Allis part no. for the pin is 223130. Bushing part no. is 224705. Two were used. On the last two tractors I repaired the hand clutch levers. I ended up pulling the transmission cover, driving the pin out and replacing it with a new one. The bore in the hand clutch lever was egg shaped and required boring and a custom bushing was fitted. Good Luck. HTH
