A buddy of mine needed some help in the hay field last week. This was a twenty-one acre field. It's one mile around the outside round when opening up the field.Took the 45d and my rake over just cause I'm a nice guy,lol..Got in some quality time with the wd45d for a few days.Got rained out three days before we finally got it all done.finished on the 4th,was 97* with the dew point at 76*, pretty steamy..lol.sure glad to have that umbrella on the ole girl..

Jay, strangely enough tractor temp was just fine.Sign was from last years show but it got taken off after the pics to be on the safe side. He ended up with only 72 bale total, this old field needs some reworking to get the yields back up.The field doesn't belong to my buddy, so I don't know what will happen as far as any field improvements in the future.Still made fairly nice hay though.

Thanks don. That thing was a mess when it came to you.I got to say, this engine starts so easy, 1/4 revolution and she's fired up and running sweet with no preheat needed. She sure sounded good and healthy pulling the rake up those grades!!!Love to hear this ole girl purr.Just a real pleasure to run this tractor!!

Thanks Chris, that field is about 21 acres. We fought the rain for three days and finally finished up on the 4th.the 45d is truly a pleasure to run.Very smooth and snappy on the throttle.Crack that throttle and she's right there with no hesitation what so ever.I got to give Don(MO) all the credit for that. The man does a super job on these buda diesels.

That 45 diesel is all you could ask for Dave. I admired Don's work last summer in MI. Yes I am going to IL, hope to see you there. As we get closer to that date, I'll send you a PM.  Tim
