A buddy of mine needed some help in the hay field last week.This was a twenty-one acre field.It's one mile around the outside round when opening up the field.Took the 45d and my rake over just cause I'm a nice guy,lol..Got in some quality time with the wd45d for a few days.Got rained out three days before we finally got it all done.finished on the 4th,was 97* with the dew point at 76*, pretty steamy..lol.sure glad to have that umbrella on the ole girl..           ------------- 54 wd-45gas ; 56 wd-45d N/F w/fact p/s ; 63 d-17 sIII N/F gas ; 60 D14 N/F ; 67 d-17 sIV N/F gas ; 63D15 sII W/F; 39rc#667 ; 2021 massey 4710 fwa ; gravely 2 wheel tractors |

looks like fun.... have to ask, the sign in front of the rad wasn't a problem, heat wise ?? also ,how many big bales did you get, just curious. Jay

Great haying weather! That's a big chunk of hay. The 45D looks real good getting a work out! Thanks for posting the pictures. Dave, your old WD45 is standing tall and looking good. Remember this is what I looked at after removing the head on the engine. lol ------------- 3 WD45's with power steering,G,D15 fork lift,D19, W-Speed Patrol, "A" Gleaner with a 330 corn head,"66" combine,roto-baler, and lots of Snap Coupler implements to make them work for their keep. |
