Hi everyone. I've got a Series IV D17. The PTO engagement lever by my left foot broke off flush with the trans housing. Is there anyway to access this from the cover on the other side where the hydraulic lines go into the trans housing? I'm hoping this doesnt have to be split for something this small.

If the lever broke off the shaft, try drilling s few holes in the lever and weld it back on through the holes. remember to weld for just a few seconds and then cool with water then weld again so you keep shaft in tractor cool so it doesn't melt the seal in housing. |
