D-14? Distance from the bell coupler to the snap coupler arms if they were hanging basically level out. the back? I was thinking it was close to 48 inches but can't remember. I am building a snap coupler rake and need to get the lift straps on but forgot to measure how far from the center of the bell coupler back to where the straps would be pretty close to plumb and not leanin way forward or way back to start with.
I am at home in the shop in IL and old alice is up in MI at my property Appreciate the help. BTW , thanks to D. Spears for helping me find that flat bar eye couple. Nice CA he has set up real nice and sure is lookin good! Ralph Edited by rasman57 - 12 May 2010 at 3:04pm |

Hi Ralph!
It was great to meet you & help you on your project!
I measured my setup on the CA snap coupler eye to straight up lift arms. 38"
When I corrected the length of the plow drawbar from a WD to a CA it needed to be shortened by 5".
My guess would be for your D-14 to be 43" from the tip of the snap coupler eye!
Maybe someone can get a better measurement!
Hope that this helps!

DeWayne,
Thanks again for your help. I think 42-43" is just about right for that D-14. I'll let you know how it turns out.
