Ken: I hate to throw a kink in the works, but I've know many places where the Green guys have written the rules to only allow factory weights in the proper position. I tried to use WC centers on my RC for rear wheel weights and was not allowed to pull. After I goaded them about being afraid to be beaten I was allowed to pull NON COMP. Needles to say the RC showed up the others by quite a distance. That's why I stay away from "Stock class" pulls. TOO many wineys that get all worked up over a plastic trophy!!!!!
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

So let me see. After all is said and done, it's about bragin rights not about a plastic trophy.
We allow the non-conformists to pull in a weight class as long as there are no safety issues and they stay under the required maximum speed limit. Call it whatever. NON COMP or Exhibition.
Around here locally we all try our best to allow everyone who comes to hook up and pull the opportunity to do so. Cheaters too.
