Whats the easiest way to mount the rim and tire.Hub on tractor first then rim and tire or is it better to mount center hub on rim with tire on the ground.We just got done painting a d17 and thats all we have left to do.Thanks

I would hang the wheel on tractor and the roll the tire and rim under wheel, seems easier for me. You can slide eccentrics in position on rail and bolt fast. Fred

I always install the hubs to the rims before placing the tires on the tractor. Lean the outer rim on the wall with rails at 12,3,6,9 O'clock positions and tire tread facing the correct way. Place the 1st eccentric on the bottom rail, set the hub on the eccentric, and finger tighten the two bolts; proceed with installing the two side ones and finally the top ones in the same manner (you may have to slide the last one or two down the rail to get it into place). Works better if you have another pair of hands to help.
