Will this fit on a WD45 that has the snap coupler hitch with the bell for the drawbar.

Since you use the existing drawbar it doesn’t fit both.

I think it should. Have a similar one that was used once or twice on a wd45 w/o issues. Probably wrong here, and don't have a book for one, but wouldn't you take the bail off to use it?

Yea I can’t find any info on this model SS. There’s one for sale by me but I’m not sure it will fit. I haven’t been able to find the newer style with the straight shank and snap coupler.

Anyone else have any experience with this SS on a snap coupler draw bar.

On a non-snap coupler drawbar, the bail never falls off the tractor. You pull the two quick pins and it floats up and down. On the snap-coupler drawbar set-up, the bail has slots on the upper ends. So, when you pull the bail quick pins, it falls off the tractor.

Ok so I think what is called the bale is the U shaped piece that adjusts the draw bar up and down on a snap coupler tractor. So if I’m understanding this correctly on a pin hitch you pull the pins and the draw bar moves up and down with the SS which isn’t possible on the snap coupler tractor because of the slots. Am I understanding this right.
