Thought it would be fun to start a thread where folks could share pics of their B attachments and or implements that were designed to be pulled behind and matched up to the B. I enjoy the little B! Snap coupler B pics from the back welcome!

I have an identical mower to that one, but mine has a single "C" size belt to drive it. Also have a pair of rear wheel weights, but that's all.

Those mowers that have a double bet drive are a #5 mower. That is an improved version of the B/C mower that has the big single belt. The #5 will also mount on the CA whereas the B/C will not mount on a CA. I have 2 #5 mowers that could make one working unit available. I also have many other implement for B tractors available, as well as parts for them.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

I mainly did it for something different and to be able to haul my D17 and B at the same time as the narrow fronts would overlap. To truly to get it to work right, the "C" steering box would need to be used to get the right geometry. As I have it, it steered hard. |

The B/C Sickle and plow are simple designs, either hand lift or with the optional hydraulic ram

Had to join in. I hope a mower is considered an implement. One of my garage queens.

Steve, yes, I have a No. 9 disc. (But the only photo I have is of my 8N pulling it) It's a bit newer than Randy's (spring loaded adjustment pins), but it's a 7 footer, and I'm thinking it would be a bit much for the B if I wanted to do any aggressive tillage. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet with the B, though. I know at the farm where the disc is, (extremely sandy soil) the 8N struggles to pull it. Has power, but without any weights, it loses traction and digs itself in a hole very quick. Of course, it wasn't designed for implements like that anyway.
Here's a photo of my B. Mower and umbrella are A-C, plow is an Oliver 2-12 rooster lift, like was already mentioned. Pulls that plow very nicely in all soils, but struggles for traction in the sticky gumbo that plows like asphalt just a few miles west of me. Oh, also, Steve...it's a '42 war baby. Well, supposed to be anyway. Edited by CrestonM - 02 Jan 2018 at 9:33pm |
