I finally got time to put my power director standard transmission back together after the hollow shafts welded themselves together. Anyway, I took the brake off the lower shaft and pulled it back to drop a gear and bearing out the front so I could get the hollow shafts out, now I am going back together and am having trouble getting the bearing and gear back on the bottom shaft and stabbed. Any tricks or do I need to strip the top shaft to have room to do it? I had to take the lower one out to pull the hollow shafts but do I have to cut the moon notches like in other threads to put the hollow shaft assembly in last? I am kind of confused. Thanks for all your help.
