It's really too nice to scrap but that is what he's leaning towards doing right now. From what I was reading an engine from a 1750 would be about right for this tractor. .......
You know, I've got a friend who is heavy into Olivers. I don't know why I didn't think of giving him a call. I'll see him in a couple weeks at his threshing/tractor show. |

Lonn, I think that Crank was unique to the 1800A series. Here is some more info;
http://www.yesterdaystractors.com/cgi-bin/viewit.cgi?bd=oliver&th=122453 Best bet is the 1750 or 1800 B/C or 1850. All should be a bolt-in operation. Even a diesel version of those, except the 1850 Diesel that had the Perkins engine. |

My brother bought an 1800 Series A (265 cid) gas tractor with a bad crankshaft. What other Waukesha engines use the same crank, if any? This one is 60 thousandths out of round on the rods. Otherwise he is looking for a good engine out or a gas 1750 (283 cid) or 1850 Waukesha (310 cid). Close to SE Minnesota if possible. Prefer the 283.
