Looking for power steering line for D17 Series IV. If sitting on tractor it is the small line on the left side. Runs from pump to left side of reservoir on from of tractor.

I'm going to assume a gas tractor ?? Diesel lines are all different. Lines from a series 3 are the same as a series 4.

Yes Sir. You are correct and thank you for the response. If I were to try and build a line myself. Would you know the size of the line # 5 and fittings?

That's the pressure line, so it must be good enough for 1600 psi. If you don't have your old one for a pattern, that will be a challenge to make one identical. The pump hole is "inverted flare" which is kind of odd. The bottom is too, but you could make it into JIC connections.

I have the old one for a pattern and I should be able to reuse the fittings. I’m just unsure the exact size of the steel line. Once I have formed the line I should be able to have a high pressure hose attached.

I am sure it is a 5/8 line but you better measure it. A 5/8 open end quality wrench will tell you.

If you have the line; Send it to Inline Tube to have a replacement one copied from it.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

If you have the old one, a local hydraulic shop can make one to match it.
