Depends on the year (SN).
B had a 113CI Waukesha, then a 116CI BE, then a 125.2CI CE C had a 125.2CI CE CA had a 125.2CI CE with slightly higher compression ratio.

The WAK engine was only used in the first 97 B tractor or so.. about 1937... Then for 3-4 years the B had a 116 inch BE motor... Sometime late 1940 the model C came out and the motor was changed to a CE 125 inch and used in BOTH the B and C till 1950.... Then the C was replaced with the CA tractor and continued to use the CE engine till 1958 or so..
There were a few "changes" in the compression ratio over the years, but the same basic engine was used ...... and you can put new pistons and liners in a BE engine to get to the CE engine specs.

Don't forget the RC. That had a B/C engine in it as well. I think that only had the 125 version if I remember correctly.... Steve@B&B

If ya ever went to the County Fair from 1950 - 2000 you probably saw one of them engines running the Ferris Wheel or other Ride.... Dont see as many these days.

Now hang on... I always thought the RC engine had an "R" prefix and "CR" was from a power unit. Is that wrong?

RCs had an “R” prefix. There were also “R” prefix power units and then the CR prefix followed those. RC was out of production by then.
No idea why they weren’t “RE” to follow the same labeling convention.
