    Posted: 12 Apr 2011 at 6:35pm
I just re-acquired our old D17 IV.  The PO mounted an aftermarket loader with hydraulic bucket, using the single rear remote outlet.  He operated it by wiring the remote lever forward.  The loader has its own set of dual hydraulic controls for the loader/bucket operation.

My question is, can I re-plumb the hydraulic system so the that loader can operate independently with the live pump, so I don't have to cludge the hoses to the rear remote?

we have a IV with a loader and we intercepted discharge lines on the side mounted pump. The hydraulics are live (clutch does not affect use of the loader).

IF your loader valve has a relief valve in it, you can run from pump to loader valve IN port and out from OUT port to IN port of tractor valve. If loder valve DOES NOT have a  relief valve don't hook it up.   MACK
