I have a lot of slop in my hand clutch lever so I pulled the lever. It needs two new bushings but the shaft is badly worn as well and will need to be replaced. I know the shaft is frictional fit. I can get it to spin with a pipe wrench and a cheater bar but anyone got any ideas how to get it out?

Pull right frame, weld nut the size of your slide hammer to end of shaft, and pull it out. MACK

I take the shift tower off and pound it out from the inside.

Ended up drilling a 7/16 hole though the shaft near the housing and VERY SLOWLY pulled it out. Took a ray Wylie Hubbard and a Tom h hall CD to get it out. Got advice on putting new one in. Think I will chill it in dry ice
