The sherman set up is the same tractor Ted Buisker referenced from a show in Hutchinson a few years back.  The clutch pack does run in oil but is set up more like a CA hand clutch which "disconnects" power to the rear end.

I have the same unit, it has the lever for the hand clutch but no clutch inside. for sale or trade if anyones interested.
