   I have a gleaner z 226 in my d 17. Has anyone ever ran the mechanical fuel pump on this motor in pulling?

   Just get rid of the sediment bowl and run street elbows in1/4 pipe to a shut off then a filter and drilled out 1/8" pipe into the carb and open up the needle and seat if you already haven't and that should be more then enough file flow.
