Does anyone know of a source for the correct screws and u-nuts for the cowel (agco parts books call is a shroud) around the dash on an XT?  I don't see anything listed in the parts books.  Most anything will work but checking in here as someone usually has the answer.

They strip pretty easily. When I redid my XT I went to my local hardware store and picked up 1/4”x20 blind nuts and 1/4”x20x3/4” bolts. Stainless steel won’t rust nearly as quickly and has a nice shine to them. Worked sweet, that was 5 years ago and they still look great. Flat washer on the outside of the cowl, and a lock washer to keep it from vibrating loose.
