I only have one small problem with it now, the choke has to stay a little bit closed to keep it running, when I open the choke completely the motor drops dead
I hope a good clean of the carburator will help

Do you have a parts number for the felt air seals please?

No letters/numbers on the carb, can anyone tell me if this is a Zenith or a Marvel Schebler carb?
