WD Shifter

   I took the shifter out of My WD today to see what I could do to tighten it up a little and build up the end so it wouldn't flop around so much. From the looks of it, from the boot down, it looks, like it had been salvaged from a ship wreck. WTH, I have had this beast for 20 years and it has never once set out in the rain. I'm guessing it's from condensation and not much oil gets thrown up in that direction. I shoot some grease in there every now and again, but sheesh. 
Anybody sell shift rods and the other misc stuff in there. Looks like a washer (from the book, it's not there) and a chamfered ring that came out with the shifter below the snap ring?

I got the end built up, and that's fine now, but the ball on the shaft is beyond hope. 2 sticks of brazing rod and a day of dicking with it might work, but I don't have any dimensions.

Any ideas?

	I'd grab a good used one from a parts tractor.
