I put a new clutch/brake pedal shaft. The pedals were also machined. The clutch pedal doesn't snap back nicely like it should. Should I have greased it better. I used the zirk but it might not cover the whole shaft. I wonder if the tolerance is too tight or could the spring be week on the throw bearing. Is the spring easy to change?

Everything you mentioned could cause the issue. I would remove clean and grease everything and if it still sticks then try a new spring. You should be able to replace the spring through the bottom access window.

Found the problem. Too many shims on the brake side of shaft was binding ped into housing.
Thanks
