putting a wd45 hand clutch in the wd, took it apart and look's good what is the correct clearance between the clutch disc/plate's so I get it simmed correct

Have a look at the plate the rollers ramp up on.You can turn it to get a new place to run on.The edge of the angle can get rounded. Sounds like yours may not have that much use/wear.
