Hey guys I got a rebuild kit for the carb. and when I re assembled everything, the throttle linkage wants to stay wide open. When you throttle down it is completely un-responsive. Even throttling up yields very little effect.

So if anyone knows what the problem may be feel free to assist. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like the lever on the Carb. throttle shaft is pointing in the wrong direction.

Down vs Up  OR  vise-versa. Not sure which is right.

Where's Steve B&B  the Carb expert.

Well problem solved. After I posted I thought about a previous post where they were talking about the throttle rod. I bent it a few different waya and hit it just right. Now it works as it should minus the fact that it is running like crap. So I think I will research getting the carb adjusted right. So thanks anyway.

It sounds like I do need to talk to the carb guy you mentioned.
