Ed,

That moldboard is for a #124   12"-14" bottom. Does it still look like a dealership inside? I am wanting to get some pictures of what the insides of old local dealerships looked like, and Allis was big over there in Rome/Windham area. Who was the dealer? PM me if you want.

I've moved my plow books faster than my computers so I can't answer the IDs for a while.

Gerald, I already checked the book, none of those 383xxx numbers are in the plow bottom parts book we have...must be for newer bottoms than a 387.  Mike

The 383s might also be plow frame parts, not plow bottom parts. I can't check now.

ED,
Do you still have that Moldboard p/n 309244? How about some plow points for the same plow? I have been doing quite a few gardens this year with my  B and the moldboard on the 2nd bottom snapped off swinging around a tree stump. My points are worn quite well too.

Thank you in advance,
Steve

If I remember correctly the metal tag numbers were "Bundle " numbers.

Most items shipped from LaPorte plant had metal tags for shipping dept. to use to get complete unit bundles so dealer had complete unit as they had ordered. I spent many hours in LaPorte waiting for my load to get picked for loading.

Farmer Roy, that is interesting.  I know the LaCrosse built tillage equipment had label tags on them.  Ive seen alot of those tags on plows, discs, drills and misc but never on LaPorte built items.  Will have to look over a few more of my machines.
