You're right, Lonnie. If the wheel centers were painted orange, and the edges of the wheel painted silver, it wouldn't even look too bad. This tractor was at a show in Central Wisconsin last year.

Boy, if I didn't know better, I'd say those wheels in Larry's pics look like the old split rim "Motor Wheel" that IH used on their trucks from the late 50's-early 70's as well as the Army. Pretty interesting. The large holes are the bolt circle for IH. Looks like new holes where drilled for the G model... |

It looks like he cut a disc to drill the mounting holes to fit the G. The outside of the disc is welded into the truck rim and the inside hole matches the G hub. It's a simple adaptor.
