That's one use for military tires and a whole lot cheaper than the real ones.

You're right, Lonnie. If the wheel centers were painted orange, and the edges of the wheel painted silver, it wouldn't even look too bad. This tractor was at a show in Central Wisconsin last year.

Boy, if I didn't know better, I'd say those wheels in Larry's pics look like the old split rim "Motor Wheel" that IH used on their trucks from the late 50's-early 70's as well as the Army. Pretty interesting. The large holes are the bolt circle for IH. Looks like new holes where drilled for the G model...

It looks like he cut a disc to drill the mounting holes to fit the G. The outside of the disc is welded into the truck rim and the inside hole matches the G hub. It's a simple adaptor.
