My D 19 power director pops out of low range while going down hill. will be splitting tractor to replace seals. Can someone tell me possible causes for it to pop out? Thanks Bill

Ours did the same thing...The little rollers that engaged and disengauge the clutch pack may be worn out. Check them

Yes, rollers (3 per side) can get flat spotted. Rollers were $15 each from AGCO in 2006 when I did my D17 Series IV. Also the feed ramps they roll on get worn, have to be built up and machined back down. Moving shims to tighten up the clutch will make it pop out worse. Mike
