could someone post a picture. I purchase one for my CA and I don't know where to hook it to. I know it goes in the hole on the linkage itself...but there does it connect on the other end?

Yep; attaches to the top manifold bolt; large loop over the manifold bolt, small loop thru the throttle rod. I use a piece of heavy wire (coat hanger wire) with a hook on one end and insert it between the block and manifold to pull the spring up over the manifold bolt (after attaching the small loop to the throttle rod such that the opening in the large loop faces forward).
