Working on getting the remote valves working better on our 7060.  Replaced the large pin, levers, and the pins on the front of the spools. Man 40+ years of wear and its amazing how they feel now! Third remote detents in lower and raise and goes into float.  1+2 remotes do not detent or go into float.  Took the rubber plugs out on the back of the spool and oil came out.  I assume valve spool needs resealed.

But, the question is.  Why do those two valve not detent or go into float?

Id start with the adjustment inside where you took the plug out. I dont have 7000 series now but it seems that they were an allen screw. My 8070s are a small screwdriver
If that doesnt fix it theres something wrong with the detent mechanism but ive never had one give trouble other than adjustment

With the engine off, you should have those detents in all of the levers. Readjust the cables if you don't.

If you push the lever forward toward lower and it doesnt detent its not the cables because you have more lever and cable stroke to go to float

Ya I need to unhook a cable on the ones that do not detent and see if I can manually detent reaching up there. Then I know it’s a cable adjustment I guess.
