Question about the AP/SP46 M&W, WD45 crank combo.
For the 13:1 compression set up will the factory felpro head gasket hold? Or do you have to run a copper head gasket with an o ringed head? Looking for input from people who have ran the set up or are familiar with it. |

I always used a stock OEM head gasket from the old days. Now, todays head gasket isn't the laminated metal one from yesteryear, but I still think you'll be OK. Do a cold retorque after you've run it a couple of times down the track. Ignition timing will need to be retarded somewhat with the higher compression.
