Your favorite parts store.Just don't say it is from a old machine that will not be in the computer.I like the Napa store because they have pictures in the parts catalogs that help match things. But also it depends on the attitude of management and front line employes.Good lucky,as I am sure they are out there.

I think he's talking about the cylinder for the mast, not the master cylinder. If so, I doubt NAPA would have the parts. I'd guess a hydraulic shop would be the best bet.

Yes the mast cylinder. Is it a packing type fix or does the cylinder have to be disassembeled? Is there anywhere I can see a diagram?

Check the mast and cylinders for a part number stamped on the mast and the lift cylinder. There must have been a dealer for AC trucks in your area. I have an ACP 25 which Herc U Lift in Maple Plain, MN supplied seal kits for. if you have the part number of the mast cylinders, they may be able to provide seal kits. They sell over the phone and ship parts out of their facility. A very large and well run organization. They have stores in several of the upper midwest states. |
