    Posted: 09 Jan 2023 at 12:32pm
Having problems finding the right hand tie rod end for our 2wd 6080. Agco part number is 70260801, the number is obsolete and my dealer couldn't cross it over to anything else. It looks like the 6060/6070 share a rod end with a 170/175, but nothing for a 6080. Is there a tie rod out there that will work or am i on my own to make a replacement?

Have you tried 70260802?  It appears to be the full tie rod with both ends.  Also check with some of the sponsors on here.  Mcmaster carr seems to have some tie rod ends, but not sure if they will work.  I know some of them can get some hard to find items.  I am curious what you find out.  I have a couple of 2wd 6080s as well, but haven't had to change the tie rod ends yet.

70260802 is no longer serviced by AGCO. I have been looking for a replacement on and off for two years with no luck. If you find please post so we can help others. It is also used on the 7000 with light axle. I had thought of moving cylinder to the left and welding brackets to the tube like the 7000 series did.
