It appears my d17 that I just acquired does not have power steering. Although it has the fill and cap where you would put the power steering fluid. Below the governor there is just a plate where I would assume the power steering would connect inside, opposite of where the steering shaft goes in. Would it be easy enough to swap parts from my other d17 parts tractor that has power steering?? Thanks

If the parts tractor is a series 1 just swap out the front bolster and components. Need a overhead crane to make it easier to do. I rebuilt my series 1 NF diesel PS and no it’s not an easy task.

I have a complete power steering assembly for a series 1 D17 gas for sale, but I live in Canada.  Shipping would be pricey.
