This Probably been posted many times but as I read through the posts.   I had questions.   Is there a gear reduction starter from another series that will fit a 190XT series 3 ?    Just curious what others have found or used. And if any modifications were required.
Thanks,
Dale

I believe it was the 6080's Denso starter that was the original factory application.

I've used a Nippon Denso #028000-6780 on AC180 & 200.
Replaces Delco 1113657 and Allis 70242143 and 79004832 starters.
 parts store catalog says it fits most; 180, 185, 190, 190XT, 200, 7000, 7010, 7020, 8010 using AC 301 CID engines.
There's also 1 that replaces these engines using the LUCAS starters, but I can't find its part number.
AC 200, CAH, AC185D bareback, AC 180D bareback, D17 III, WF. D17 Blackbar grill, NF. D15 SFW. Case 1175 CAH, Bobcat 543B,
