Brakes on these leave a lot to be desired on steep operation, I would be one to bid taking it out above. If and when running can at least drop bucket for a parking brake to re-hook if use a winch truck to assist. I would seriously look to connecting with a local HE contractors to see if can get assistance on retrieving with a winch and a excavator or another loader.
If you do attempt to retrieve and have it running, the brake adjusters are under large caps to the sides of the operator on top of the rear housing toward the front of the housing. Takes a 3/4" socket to access and to adjust, tighten down then back off one full turn if memory serves. Will go to the shop and verify once I dig out the manuals(been buried awhile).

There must must be a reason why they stopped the drive from going out to the other road to the south... like to steep or something? and the house is to close to the embankment to get around it too?
The picture is deceiving for sure , but it does not allow a look at going north and west farther to see the steep bank going up to the drive above. |
