I just tore down my engine tonight, (water in oil) and found a pin-hole in #4 liner. But I was also blessed with the top half of the thrust bearing (crank wear edge) in the bottom of the oil pan. It looks like the crank is wore and dished out on the rear side of the thrust bearing (clutch end). So, the bearing are standard, crank hasn't been ground. What can I do, should I do? Do they make an oversized thrust bearings for end-play etc? This engine has the external thrust reducer on the front. What's next. Anyone have an engine or parts for this engine? Thanks, Shawn |
