I am ready to put my D 12 manifold back together and would like to know a what is recommended to use as a sealant on the 2 studs that enter the cooling passage ? I am thinking anti seize on the remainder of the studs ? New studs, brass nuts should I be using lock washers alone ( that is what it had previously ) should there be a flat washer between the lock washer and the manifold ? Is there a recommended torque for these ?
Tightening pattern using center out sequence ? Thanks for any info you can provide. |

Use permatex number 2 on the ones that go into coolant or oil. That’s what it is for.
