was reading an article in a magazine about things people use to smoke meats in their smokers or grills. it named all kinds of wood that is used for smoking. then....I read can use hay! WHAT? didn't say what kinda hay, grass hay? alfalfa hay? clover hay? said it's for a quik smoke. i'm not sure I wanna try it. I like the smell of dehydrating alfalfa, but I don't think the taste would be that good. any of you try this? Joe...?

Sounds like something went "haywire" with this idea.
It's an interesting idea though,,,,,,,,,SOAKING WET hay......MIGHT work seeing as how long it takes to smoke meats. But then there's that idea of DJs about the flatulence thing,,,,,,,,and you'd have the diarrhea all the time and be squirting out cow pies..... Let me (US) know how it comes out.,,,,,,,,,,,,the smoking I mean,,,,,,,,not afterwards! |

"Look for hay and straw at garden shops and pet shops. Hay smoking in the
great outdoors? You can use dried pine needles from a pristine forest …
just don’t use the shed needles at the dog park."
