m If the WF takes 12 years, I might be too old to make it out there to test drive it for ya I spent 10 years on my WC, then had to hire some assembly and still don't have fenders on it yet . Life seems to get in the way !

Beautiful!!!
Those older Allis tractors I have always loved, probably will never buy 1 (well maybe years from now). They sure are neat just to be around them. |

I think I heard somewhere if the owner used a 25-40 for drawbar work, the warranty was voided, as the engine had more power than the transmission/rear end could take. Anyone know if there is truth to that? Sounds a little fishy to me, as those tractors look very stout.

I think this tractor may have been used for pulling a road grader possibly. It originally had road wheels on the back, which was a heavier steel band and six inch wider hub and band. Regretfully a previous owner cut the spokes and welded on wheels for rubber tires. I still have them, so thinking about having Detweilers re spoke and rerim them. All i need is another pair to get measurements off of.

Thank you for posting this picture. An old friend of mine bought a new one and thrashed with it for years. I have sat across the restruarnt table from him and listened to his stories. He is long gone, I wish my grandsons would have been there to listen. Again thanks for posting a SWEET picture.
