I am going to rebuild the 16HP Kohler in my 716 Six Speed puller. I was going to go with a Zack Kerber Gov 3 cam with the .330lift, and valve kit that he offers. I thought that I may as well do this when I am in there. I will go with a steel flywheel and front pulley as well as his reworked stock carb. I guess that my question is, would this be too much for the rear end. We are pulling what we call stock altered here in Ontario at 1150lbs. I am running 26x12x12 puller tires. I am looking to get enough power for a wee bit more speed. I am going to put a straight shaft in the axle, and make sure the bevel gear box is up to snuff. Thanks!!
